A low pressure system north of Japan will produce moderate to heavy rainfall for Japan on Friday. The storms are expected to diminish throughout the day as the system moves out to the Pacific. Temperatures over Japan will remain mild. Meanwhile, a small trough may kick up some partly clouds and sprinkles over the Korean Peninsula. Temperatures will jump into the 80s(F)/ 28(C) because warm air is pushing into the region from China.

Over China, a trough of low pressure will bring widespread scattered showers to the eastern region on Friday. Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected over Beijing and along the Yellow Sea to Shanghai, and westward toward Chongqing. Without a strong onshore flow present from the South China Sea, only a few coastal showers are likely on the southeastern shore. Hot and humid conditions are expected throughout the region with highs in Beijing reaching into the mid-90s(F)/ 34(C).

The Philippines will continue to see widespread scattered showers with monsoon like conditions in some areas. There is no Typhoon activity at this time.

To the west, a low pressure trough over the Bay of Bengal will bring monsoon conditions to Myanmar on Friday. Expect hot and humid conditions to span from Nepal to Vietnam and to Malaysia.

In Australia, high pressure dominates most of the continent on Friday. However, a low pressure system off the east coast will trigger some coastal showers over New South Whales. The storms will track up the southeastern coast from Victoria to Brisbane throughout the day. Also in the west, a trough of low pressure will hover over the coast of Western Australia. The system will produce scattered showers on Friday and moderate to heavy rainfall over the weekend. Expect warmer temperatures with highs reaching the 80s(F)/ 28(C) in the north and mid-60s(F)/ 18(C) in the south.
